No IR illuminator on this model — only a 40 m warm light. For pure black-and-white night coverage well beyond 40 m, choose an IR-equipped PTZ instead.
Auto tracking is limited to human targets per the datasheet — it does not auto-track vehicles. Pick a model with person/vehicle classification if vehicle tracking matters.
IP66 protection (not IP67) with a plastic housing — fine for typical eaves/pole exposure, not for submersion-grade or extreme vandal-resistance requirements.
5x optical zoom (2.7–13.5 mm) tops out at a modest telephoto reach — for identify-grade recognition well past ~21 m, a longer-zoom PTZ is a better match.
