The IPC6312LFW-AX5C-VG1 is a 2MP LightHunter mini PTZ dome camera built around a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with a 2.7 to 13.5 mm, 5× optical-zoom lens (F1.6), delivering up to 120 dB WDR and color imaging down to 0.002 lux (AGC on). Smart intrusion prevention covers cross line, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area detection with false-alarm filtering and human/vehicle classification, while auto tracking automatically follows human targets and a built-in mic and speaker support two-way audio. Smart IR reaches 50 m plus a 15 m warm light, MicroSD storage takes cards up to 512 GB, and the IP66-rated housing runs on DC 12 V or PoE (IEEE 802.3at).

Not the right pick if you need…
  • No wide panoramic view — this is a single-lens 5× zoom mini PTZ covering one area at a time, not a 360° or multi-sensor camera. Pair it with a fixed or panoramic camera if you need full-scene overview plus detail together.
  • The datasheet lists auto tracking with human-target filtering, not face recognition or a face database — it follows a person, it doesn't identify who they are. Choose a dedicated face-recognition camera if identity matching is the goal.
  • IP66 protection (not IP67/submersible) — fine for eaves, walls and typical outdoor poles, but not rated for direct water immersion or burial-level exposure.
