The TF Red Card MT series is the surveillance-grade line of our TF card family, offered in four capacities: TF-32G-MT, TF-64G-MT, TF-128G-MT and TF-256G-MT. Rated at 3000 program/erase cycles — roughly 3 to 6 times the life of an ordinary consumer card — it is designed for the write pattern that kills normal cards: continuous, around-the-clock video recording. The −25 °C to 85 °C operating range covers sun-baked camera housings and outdoor bullet cameras, and on-card health monitoring lets compatible recorders report remaining card life before failure. All capacities read at 95 MB/s and meet the A1 application performance class.

How is a surveillance microSD card different from an ordinary TF card?

The MT series is rated for 3000 P/E cycles and runs from −25 °C to 85 °C, so it survives the constant overwrite of 7×24 CCTV loop recording and the heat inside outdoor camera housings. Ordinary consumer cards are not specified for that duty and wear out early in continuous recording.

Which capacity should I choose for an IP camera?

Four options: 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB. A larger card gives a longer loop before old footage is overwritten and spreads write cycles across more cells, which extends service life. Retention depends on your camera's bitrate — send the model and stream settings and we will estimate recording days.

How long will the card last recording 24/7?

Endurance is rated at 3000 P/E cycles on MLC/TLC flash. On compatible recorders the card reports remaining life through health monitoring, so you can schedule replacement before failure instead of discovering a dead card after an incident. Actual service life depends on bitrate and how often the loop overwrites.

Can it handle outdoor heat and cold?

Yes. The operating range is −25 °C to 85 °C, which covers sun-baked housings in hot climates as well as cold-region installs, so the card can live inside an outdoor bullet or PTZ camera year-round. Sequential read is 95 MB/s; write is 65 MB/s at 32 GB and 70 MB/s at 64–256 GB.

Does health monitoring work on any recorder?

Remaining-life reporting works on compatible recorders, which read the card's health data and warn you as the flash wears down. In other devices the card still records normally — you just don't get the wear read-out. Ask us to confirm compatibility with your recorder model before ordering in volume.

How do I make sure I get genuine Uniview cards?

For corporate buyers we submit the purchase order to Uniview under your own company name, so your company appears on the official order and the goods trace directly back to the factory. For delivery, we hand over to your designated forwarder's warehouse in China on EXW or FOB Guangzhou terms.
