Why Installers Standardise on PoE NVRs

The grid covers 4-channel/4-PoE units for shops and homes up to 16-channel/16-PoE machines for compounds and small businesses, in standard and IQ (smart) versions — H.265 end to end, single or dual HDD bays, and per-model incoming bandwidth printed so you can check 4K camera plans before ordering.

Two rules from the field: PoE NVR ports are standard 100m ports — scattered or distant cameras call for field PoE switches uplinked to a standard NVR instead; and order the recorder with surveillance-rated disks installed, formatted and configured, which we do before shipping on request.

PoE NVR FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

None for standard units — start with 2–3 samples, test on your own site, then scale by air or LCL sea freight. MOQ only applies to OEM orders with your own logo and packaging.

Can third-party cameras plug into these PoE ports?

Same-brand cameras auto-configure; third-party cameras generally work via ONVIF where the model page states support — video and recording yes, advanced smart events may need same-brand pairing. Send both model numbers and we verify before you order.

How many days of recording will I get?

Rule of thumb at H.265/4Mbps: one 8TB surveillance drive holds ~23 days of 8 cameras or ~11 days of 16. Send your camera list and required days — the quote comes back with the disk plan calculated.
