The EMS-200 is an industrial IoT gateway for environment monitoring that bridges RS-232/485 serial devices and the TCP/IP Ethernet network, providing 1 × RS-232 and 3 × RS-485 serial ports plus 8 × DI and 2 × DO (relay) I/O interfaces. One RS-232 port on DB-9 and three RS-485 ports on terminal blocks, plus 8 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs, all bridged to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. Serial speeds run 110 to 460,800 bps with configurable parity, data bits (5–9) and stop bits (1, 1.5, 2).
What protocols does the EMS-200 support?
Standard Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII for SCADA integration, plus SNMP MIB-II, Telnet, HTTP, DHCP, TCP/UDP and ICMP on the network side. Real COM drivers for Windows and TTY drivers for Unix/Linux let existing serial software keep talking to field devices over the Ethernet network.
