The EMS-200-150 is a compact industrial IoT gateway and environment monitoring host that connects RS-485 serial devices and digital-input sensors to a TCP/IP Ethernet network through 2 × RS-485 ports and 6 × DI channels. Compared with the full-featured EMS-200, this version omits the RS-232 port and DO relay outputs, keeping the same 32-bit processor, Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII, SNMP MIB-II and Syslog support inside a smaller 180×44×96.5mm 1U rack-mount chassis. Powered by DC48V (36–56VDC input, 230mA@12V), its I/O is limited to 6 × DI digital inputs with no relay/DO output, making it suited to status-monitoring points rather than remote switching control.

What devices can I connect to the EMS-200-150?
Two RS-485 serial ports on terminal blocks (110 to 460,800 bps) and six digital-input channels, all bridged to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. Typical loads are meters, sensors and other Modbus RTU/ASCII field devices that need to reach a Modbus TCP master or monitoring platform.
How is the EMS-200-150 different from the EMS-200?
This version omits the RS-232 port and the DO relay outputs: you get 2 × RS-485 and 6 × DI only, in a smaller 180 × 44 × 96.5 mm 1U chassis. The 32-bit processor, Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII, SNMP and Syslog support stay the same — pick it when relay output control is not required.
How is it powered on site?
It takes 48 V DC nominal with a wide 36–56 V DC input range and draws about 230 mA at 12 V. A 12 V / 30 W high-power DC output is also available to feed sensors or small field devices, saving a separate power supply in compact monitoring cabinets.
