Once a site passes sixteen cameras, splitting it across three small switches costs more in uplinks, power bricks and fault-finding than one rack machine with a real power budget.
The 24-port family splits three ways. Our own-brand S2402G1GFI and S24G02G2GFI are the 260W workhorses — fast ethernet or full gigabit PoE, 2 × GE plus SFP uplinks, 19-inch body, port isolation to stop one faulty camera flooding the rest. Uniview NSW2020 and NSW3000 add the cloud-managed option: the same 24 ports, but you see port status, PoE draw and a remote reboot from a browser, which is what saves the trip to site. And ZJIES1000-P and ZJIES6028M-P are the industrial and IEC 61850-3 substation versions, DC-powered, for utilities and rail.
Two numbers matter before you order. First the budget: 24 ports at 12W is 288W of load, so a 250W machine is already short — the 360W and 400W versions exist for exactly that reason, and the low-power (LPOE) variants are only for small fixed cameras. Second the uplink: at 24 cameras you are moving real traffic, so take gigabit combo or SFP fibre to the NVR, never a 100M uplink. If the rack sits in an unventilated room, check the operating temperature on the model page before you commit.

What is the minimum order quantity for PoE switches?
None for standard units — order 2–3 samples, test them on your own site, then scale by air or LCL sea freight. MOQ only applies to OEM orders with your own logo and packaging.
How many cameras can a 24-port PoE switch really run?
Twenty-four ports does not mean twenty-four cameras. A 250W machine runs about 20 fixed cameras at 12W, or all 24 if they are small 4–6W units. A PTZ at 25.5W eats two cameras' worth of budget on its own. Give us the camera models and we will tell you which version fits — that calculation is free and takes an hour.
