Overview
The ZJIC200-2 series is an industrial 100/1000M fiber media converter that converts a 10/100/1000Base-T electrical signal to a 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X optical signal over a single fixed fiber port (SC/ST/FC, single-mode/multimode, single/dual-fiber selectable). It uses a redundant power design with wide-voltage input, offering overload protection, reverse-polarity protection and a power-failure alarm. An optional wide-temperature version and strong EMC immunity meet demanding industrial environments, delivering economical and reliable network access.

What does the ZJIC200-2 media converter do?
It converts one RJ45 copper port — 10/100Base-T or 10/100/1000Base-T depending on version — into a fixed 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X fiber port, extending Ethernet far beyond copper limits for roadside or plant links. Switching is store-and-forward with a 1K MAC table and 1 Mbit buffer.
What fiber distances are supported?
At 100M: multimode 2 km, single-mode 20/40/60/120 km optional. At gigabit: multimode 0.5 or 2 km, single-mode 20/40/60/120 km optional. Connectors are SC, ST or FC in single- or dual-fiber versions — state the speed, distance and connector when ordering.
How is the ZJIC200-2 powered?
Four options: DC 5V gold-finger for the card-insert version, DC 24V (12–36V) or DC 48V (36–56V) with dual redundant terminal inputs, or AC 220V (100–240V) single input. Maximum draw is 3 W, with reverse-polarity protection, overload protection and a power-failure alarm.
Which mounting versions exist?
Three: DIN-rail and wall-mount versions share a 32 x 144 x 95 mm case, while the card-insert version (26 x 88 x 110 mm) slides into a media-converter chassis and takes DC 5V through a gold-finger connector — convenient for high-density equipment-room installations.
Is it suitable for harsh industrial environments?
Yes — the standard version runs from -10 to +60 degC and the wide-temperature option from -40 to +75 degC, at 5–95% non-condensing humidity. The IP40 metal housing carries CE/FCC EMC with EN61000-4 Level 3 immunity, MTBF of 320,000 hours and a 5-year warranty.
