What ports and uplinks does the ZJIES3000D-16GT4GB offer?
It combines 16 x 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports with 4 x 1000Base-X SFP fiber slots — 20 gigabit ports on one DIN-rail unit. The four SFP uplinks let you aggregate the copper access ports toward several fiber directions, using store-and-forward switching with an 8K MAC table.
Why would I need 4 SFP fiber slots on an access switch?
Four fiber ports let one unit act as both access and aggregation: two ports close a redundant fiber ring while the other two uplink to a control room or branch to another cabinet. That is the layout the brief targets — fully-gigabit access-aggregation networks with fiber uplinks.
Which redundancy protocols keep the network alive?
STP, RSTP and MSTP spanning tree, ERPS ring protection per ITU-T G.8032, and the ZJRing self-healing ring are all supported. Combined with dual redundant DC power inputs and a relay alarm output, both the network path and the power feed have a backup.
