Overview
The Uniarch SW-2106-LP is an unmanaged desktop PoE switch with 6 × 100Mbps ports — 4 PoE ports (IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W each, 60 W total) plus 2 uplink ports. Three switchable working modes cover real sites: Normal, Secure (downlink ports isolated, talking only to uplinks) and Surveillance, which extends PoE transmission up to 250 m for far cameras. A fanless all-metal housing and NDAA compliance make it a simple, quiet power-and-data hub for small camera systems.
Key Features
- Multiple working modes to address your business needs: Normal, Secure and Surveillance
- Support port traffic control
- Secure mode: all downlink ports communicate only with uplink ports
- Up to 250 m transmission distance in Surveillance mode
- Support buffer optimization
- All-metal housing, safe and reliable

Talk to an engineer →4-Port PoE Switch FAQ — SW-2106-LP
How many cameras can the SW-2106-LP power?
It has 4 PoE ports sharing a 60W budget — an average of 15W per camera, while typical fixed IP cameras draw 4–12W. Any single port can supply up to 30W under IEEE 802.3af/at for heavier devices, and ports 5–6 are non-PoE uplinks for the NVR or router.
How far can it reach a camera on one cable run?
In Surveillance (EXTEND) mode, PoE transmission reaches up to 250 m on a single run — useful for gate or perimeter cameras far from the equipment room. All 6 ports are 100 Mbps, which is ample bandwidth for the compressed streams of a small CCTV system.
What do the Normal, Secure and Surveillance modes do?
Normal, the default, lets all ports communicate freely. Secure isolates the downlink ports so they only talk to the uplinks — cameras cannot see each other, which limits the spread of network issues. Surveillance extends PoE transmission distance up to 250 m. The modes are switchable on the unit.
How is the SW-2106-LP powered and where can it be installed?
It runs from an external DC 48/51V adapter (AC 100–240V, 50/60 Hz input) with a maximum draw of 65W. The fanless all-metal case measures just 108 x 100 x 25.5 mm and weighs 0.19 kg, sits on a desktop and operates from 0 to 45 degC in silence.
Does it need configuration, and is it NDAA compliant?
No configuration — it is an unmanaged plug-and-play switch supporting IEEE 802.3af/at with PoE delivered in Mode B (pins 4/5/7/8). It is NDAA compliant. Ports 1–2 have PoE priority, and the PoE-MAX LED lights when total load passes 85% of the 60W budget.
