The ZJIES1000D-P-8PGT-DCH is an industrial unmanaged full-gigabit DIN-rail PoE switch with 8 × 10/100/1000Base-T PoE ports (IEEE 802.3af/at, PoE+, up to 30 W each) — a compact, copper-only gigabit PoE access switch. It delivers data and power over a single cable to IP cameras, IP phones and wireless APs, with a total PoE budget of about 240 W. Plug-and-play — no configuration — with store-and-forward switching in a fanless metal enclosure (50×150×120 mm) on DIN-rail (wall-mount optional). Powered by DC 48V (36–56V) with redundant dual input and reverse-polarity / overload protection, -40 to +75°C wide temperature and strong EMC immunity — ideal for industrial surveillance and edge PoE deployments.

How many IP cameras can the ZJIES1000D-P-8PGT-DCH power?
All 8 gigabit RJ45 ports supply PoE under IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W each, with a total budget of about 240 W — that is 30 W per port even with all 8 loaded. A full 8-camera CCTV cluster, including PTZ or heated housings on any port, is within budget.
Why choose gigabit ports for a CCTV switch?
Each port is 10/100/1000Base-T, so every camera gets a full gigabit link instead of sharing 100 Mbps. With an 8K MAC address table, store-and-forward switching and IEEE 802.3x flow control, the switch keeps multiple high-bitrate video streams moving without drops.
What power input does it require?
DC 48V in the 36–56V range on a 4-pin terminal with dual redundant input. Size the supply for a maximum input current of 5.1 A at 48V with PoE fully loaded — roughly 245 W. Reverse-polarity and overload protection are built in.
How is PoE delivered over the cable?
Power is injected Endspan on MDI Alternative A: V+/V+ on pins 1 and 2, V-/V- on pins 3 and 6, sharing the same pairs as data. Standard 802.3af/at powered devices — IP cameras, IP phones, wireless APs — negotiate power automatically; no splitters or injectors are needed.
Is it suitable for harsh, unattended sites?
Yes. It is fanless in an IP40 metal case (50 x 150 x 120 mm) on DIN rail or wall, unmanaged so nothing needs remote administration. Standard temperature -10 to +60°C, wide version -40 to +75°C, EN61000-4 Level 3 EMS immunity, 320,000-hour MTBF, 5-year warranty.
Does this model include fiber uplinks?
No — the -8PGT-DCH is copper-only: 8 gigabit PoE ports, no fiber interface. It suits sites where the uplink stays on copper. If the run back to the control room needs fiber, the related ZJIES1000D-P models add 2 or 4 x 1000Base-X SFP slots to the same 8-port PoE base.
