The ZJTS816 is an industrial serial device server that brings up to 16 RS-232/485 serial ports onto the Ethernet network through 2 × 10/100Base-T auto-negotiating ports, with a dedicated RS-232 Console port (RJ45, 9600bps 8-N-1) for local configuration and management. It is housed in a standard 1U, 440mm-wide rack-mount metal chassis with IP40 protection, powered by AC 220V (85–264VAC/77–300VDC wide range) with reverse-polarity and overload protection, and supports DHCP/Telnet/TCP/UDP/IP/ICMP/ARP/Modbus TCP/IP protocols with a real COM driver for Windows. An optional wide-temperature build extends operation from -40 to +75°C with strong EMC immunity for demanding industrial environments.

What kind of equipment is the ZJTS816 meant for?

How do I configure it locally on site?
A dedicated RS-232 Console port on an RJ45 connector runs at 9600 bps, 8-N-1 for local setup and management — useful when the network is not yet up. Over the network you get DHCP, Telnet, TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP, ARP and Modbus TCP/IP, plus a real COM driver for Windows NT through 11.
Does it fit a standard server rack?
Yes — it ships as a standard 1U, 19-inch rack-mount chassis, 440 mm wide and 44×212 mm in profile, with an IP40 metal enclosure. Rack mounting is the default, so 16 serial lines terminate cleanly in the same cabinet as your switches and servers.
What power supply does the ZJTS816 use?
AC 220V on a 3-pin terminal, with a wide tolerance of 85–264VAC / 77–300VDC — it rides through unstable grid voltage without an external stabilizer. Maximum draw is just 4 W, and reverse-polarity plus overload protection are built in.
Is there a version for extreme temperatures?
