The Uniarch E2-P Series is a 1-HDD PoE network video recorder offered in two sizes: NVR-104E2-P4 (4-ch) and NVR-108E2-P8 (8-ch), both recording cameras up to 8MP with Ultra 265 / H.265 / H.264 compression and 4K HDMI + VGA simultaneous output. The built-in PoE ports — 4 on the 104E2-P4, 8 on the 108E2-P8, IEEE 802.3af/at, max 30 W per port — power ONVIF-compliant cameras through the same cable that carries video, so no separate PoE switch is needed. One SATA bay takes a hard disk up to 8 TB.
Is this the right recorder for you?
Plain-language guide for buyers and installers — based only on what this recorder actually does.
- Full-channel smart alerts — VCA alarms via connected IP cameras (intrusion, cross line, area) cover channels 1–4 only, and trigger an alert with no snapshot image
- A second hard disk or RAID — this series has a single SATA bay
- Gigabit network — both the uplink and the built-in PoE ports are 10/100M (fine for 4/8 cameras at 40/50 Mbps total)
- Alarm in/out wiring for sirens or sensors
- Audio input — it has an RCA audio output only (camera-side mics still record via ONVIF)
Worried about counterfeits? Order under your own company name.
For corporate buyers: we support submitting the purchase order to Uniview under your company's real name — your company appears on the official order, so the origin of the goods can be verified directly with the manufacturer. Just provide your company name and pay by corporate bank transfer. Models carrying the anti-counterfeit label can also be self-verified on Uniview's official Anti-Counterfeiting Query page — enter the unit's SN plus the scratch-off code.
Using your own freight forwarder? No problem.
For small and mid-size orders, we deliver directly to your designated forwarder's warehouse in China (EXW / FOB Guangzhou). From hand-over onward, international shipping and destination-side arrangements are handled by your forwarder — the way you already work.
Key Features
Complete list from the official datasheet.
Powers your cameras. Saves your disk.
The two capabilities that decide whether an entry PoE NVR feels cheap or smart.
Power and video over one cable
4 ports on the 104E2-P4, 8 on the 108E2-P8 (IEEE 802.3af/at, max 30 W per port, 54 W / 75 W total budget) — plug an ONVIF camera straight into the recorder, no separate PoE switch or power adapter.
Half the storage, same image
Ultra 265 compression cuts recording size dramatically versus H.264 — on the same 8 TB disk you keep footage for weeks longer, or record more cameras at higher resolution.
