Overview

The ZJIES1000D-P-8PGT4GB is an unmanaged industrial full-gigabit DIN-rail PoE+ Ethernet switch with 8 × 10/100/1000Base-T PoE af/at ports (up to 30 W per port) and 4 × 1000Base-X SFP fiber slots, delivering power and data over a single cable to IP cameras, IP phones and wireless APs. It is DIN-rail or wall mounted, with reverse-polarity and overload protection on its dual DC 48V (36–56V) input, an optional wide-temperature variant, and strong EMC immunity for harsh industrial sites. Store-and-forward switching with an 8K MAC address table and an IP40 fanless metal housing (50×150×120 mm) round out a compact combined power-and-data access solution for industrial field devices.

The datasheet configuration table lists this model as ZJIES1000D-P8PGT4GB-DCH (no hyphen before "8PGT"); this page uses the hyphenated form ZJIES1000D-P-8PGT4GB-DCH for consistency with the rest of the ZJIES1000D-P series naming. This is currently the only confirmed variant (4×1000Base-X SFP + 8×PoE af/at, DC 48V) in the datasheet.

How many powered devices does the ZJIES1000D-P-8PGT4GB support?
Up to 8 — each of the 8 x 10/100/1000Base-T ports supplies IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W. The DC input is rated for a maximum of 5.1 A at 48V with all 8 PoE ports loaded, so IP cameras, IP phones and wireless APs can all draw power simultaneously.
What do the 4 SFP slots add over the 2-SFP model?
Four independent 1000Base-X gigabit fiber interfaces instead of two. That allows uplink plus backup plus links toward two further cabinets from one unit — useful in larger perimeter or plant layouts where several fiber directions converge on a single PoE cabinet.
How is the switch itself powered?
Via a 4-pin terminal with dual input power at DC 48V, accepting 36–56V. Reverse-polarity and overload protection are built in, and two independent feeds can be wired so a single supply failure does not drop the 8 powered cameras. Plan the source around 5.1 A maximum at 48V.
How is PoE wired inside the cable?
Endspan powering on MDI Alternative A: V+/V+ on pins 1 and 2, V-/V- on pins 3 and 6. Compliant 802.3af/at devices negotiate class and power automatically over the same pairs as data, so each camera or AP position needs exactly one Ethernet cable and nothing else.
What temperature versions exist?
The standard build operates from -10 to +60°C; an optional wide-temperature variant extends that to -40 to +75°C, with storage from -40 to +85°C and 5–95% non-condensing humidity. Specify the wide-temperature option at order time for unheated outdoor cabinets in extreme climates.
What housing and reliability does it offer?
