Design Notes & Honest Limits

Read this before you order:

Behavior AI needs light, angle and tuning. Expect false alarms in the first weeks; each scene (dock, aisle, sorting line) gets its own zones and thresholds — budget a tuning period, not a miracle.
Thermal fire watch is early warning, not a certified fire-suppression system — keep your code-required alarms and sprinklers; this buys you the hours before they trigger.
Video traceability deters and proves parcel theft — it cannot physically stop it. Pair it with process controls (two-person handover, sealed totes) for the high-value zone.
Cold-chain warehouses need cold-rated hardware: check each camera's operating range before ordering and heat the housings below it — standard indoor domes stop at -10 °C or so.
Multi-site HQ management needs bandwidth planning: live walls pull streams from every park — size the WAN links (or use sub-stream viewing) before promising headquarters a 100-camera wall.
