How well does the IPC-B134-ECO see in the dark?

Smart IR reaches 30 m (98.4 ft) at 850 nm — invisible, so the camera watches without lighting the scene. Color holds to a low 0.003 Lux (F2.0, AGC on) before switching to black-and-white at 0 Lux with IR, and smart illumination plus the auto ICR filter manage the transition on their own.

How far can it detect and identify a person?

DORI figures: the 2.8 mm lens (97 degree horizontal view) detects at 63.0 m, recognizes at 12.6 m and identifies at 6.3 m; the 4.0 mm lens (74.6 degrees) detects at 90.0 m, recognizes at 18.0 m and identifies at 9.0 m. Position cameras so critical points fall inside the identify band.

Is this model NDAA compliant?

Yes, it is listed as NDAA compliant. That makes it a safe specification when the end customer — a government site, bank, NGO or multinational — writes NDAA compliance into the tender. You keep the same 4MP IR bullet form factor and PoE cabling plan while meeting the procurement requirement.

How is it powered and mounted outside?

Power comes over PoE, so the same Ethernet cable from your PoE switch carries data and power — no local supply at the mount. The IP67 housing is sealed against dust and rain, and the bracket adjusts pan 0–360, tilt 0–90 and rotate 0–360 degrees for wall or pole aiming.

What video and detection does it give the recorder?

Dual streams with a 4 MP (2560x1440) main stream at up to 25 fps — or 3 MP and 1080P at 30 fps — under Ultra 265, H.265 or H.264 with U-code, bitrate 128–6144 Kbps. Detection covers Human body detection 2.0, motion and audio events, and the built-in mic adds G.711U/A sound at 64 Kbps.
