The Uniview IPC254EB-DX22GK-I0 is a 4MP LightHunter WDR network bullet camera built around a 6.5-143 mm lens with 22X optical zoom plus 16X digital zoom, so the same mounting position can cover a wide entry view or a distant detail shot. It combines 120 dB WDR and LightHunter low-light imaging (color down to 0.001 Lux) with a 150 m Smart IR illuminator, smart intrusion prevention with human/vehicle classification, people counting, and up to 4-lane license-plate capture. It has an IP67 outdoor housing with a built-in heater for cold starts, and powers over PoE (802.3at) or AC 24V, with a −40 °C to 70 °C working range.
Is this the right camera for you?
Plain-language guide for buyers and installers — based only on what this camera actually does.
- Wi-Fi — this is a wired RJ45/SFP camera
- Built-in speaker/mic — audio uses wired I/O terminals for an external mic and speaker, not on-body audio hardware
- Remote motorized pan-tilt (PTZ) — pan/tilt/rotate adjustment here is a manual mounting aim, not a steerable PTZ head

22X optical zoom: one lens, two extremes
Same mounting position, same camera — aim wide or zoom in without moving anything.
6.5 mm — wide entry view
At the widest end (6.5 mm, 60.47° horizontal FOV) the camera covers a full gate or yard. DORI Identify range: 9.8 m (32.0 ft.).
143 mm — 22X zoom reach
Zoomed to 143 mm (3.49° horizontal FOV) plus 16X digital zoom, DORI Identify range extends to 214.5 m (703.7 ft.) — read a distant plate or face.
How far can it see? (DORI)
DORI (EN 62676-4) is the industry standard for what a camera can do at distance.
How wide a view at each distance
Scene width covered at typical mounting distances — the number you need to work out how many cameras a wall, yard or aisle takes.
| Distance | 60.5° wide | 3.5° tele |
|---|---|---|
| 5 m16 ft | 5.8 m19.1 ft | 0.3 m1.0 ft |
