The Uniview IPC265EB-DX12K-I0 is a 5MP network bullet camera built around a 12X motorized zoom lens covering 5 to 60mm, with 16X additional digital zoom for closer inspection of distant subjects. LightHunter low-light imaging and 120dB wide dynamic range keep footage usable in mixed light, while Smart IR reaches up to 100m at night and smart intrusion prevention, people counting and traffic monitoring run on the camera itself. It draws up to 13W over PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or 12V DC, carries an IP67 outdoor rating, and — with its built-in heater — starts normally down to −40°C.

How far can the 12X zoom identify a person?

DORI identification runs from 11.9 m at the 5 mm wide end to 141.8 m at 60 mm telephoto, with detection out to 1417.5 m. The DC-iris lens plus 16X digital zoom on top let you inspect distant activity along roads or perimeters.

What night vision does it offer?

IR illumination reaches 100 m at 850 nm with Auto/Manual control, and Smart IR avoids overexposing close objects. The 1/2.7-inch LightHunter sensor rates 0.001 lux in color and 0 lux with IR, so long-range night monitoring stays usable.

What resolution and bandwidth should I budget?

Triple streams: a 5 MP (2880×1620) main stream at up to 30 fps, a 1080P sub stream and a D1 third stream. Bitrate adjusts from 128 Kbps to 16 Mbps with Ultra 265 and U-code compression, letting you balance recording quality against limited site uplinks.

How is it powered and is it weatherproof?

It runs on PoE+ over a single network cable, in an IP67-sealed housing with a built-in heater for cold mornings and condensation. Pan, tilt and rotation adjust across 0–360°, 0–90° and 0–360° for pole or wall brackets.
