The Uniview NVR502-B-P-IQ Series is a 2-HDD PoE network video recorder offered in three sizes: NVR502-08B-P8-IQ (8-ch, 8 built-in PoE ports), NVR502-16B-P16-IQ (16-ch, 16 built-in PoE ports) and NVR502-32B-P16-IQ (32-ch, 16 built-in PoE ports). All three record cameras up to 16MP with Ultra 265 / H.265 / H.264 compression, output simultaneously over 4K HDMI and VGA, and include built-in Smart Function covering face detection, face comparison, vehicle detection (LPR) and people counting / heat map analytics. Two SATA bays each take a hard disk up to 24 TB with RAID 1 support, and the local interface is available in 38 languages including Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil) and French.

- RAID 0/5/6 arrays — the 2-bay Disk Array Type supports RAID 1 mirroring only, not striping or parity RAID
- High-power PoE++ cameras — Max Power is capped at 30W per single port (IEEE 802.3at/af standard, not 60W+ PoE++)
- Full 8-channel Smart AI with third-party cameras — the deepest face/vehicle AI (up to 8-ch) requires Uniview cameras; normal/third-party cameras are limited to 2-ch face detection, 4-ch SIP or 8-ch UMD
- 4K @ 60Hz output — HDMI tops out at 4K (3840×2160)/30Hz; 60Hz refresh is only available at 1080p and below
