How dark can it be and still get color video?

Color sensitivity is 0.0003 lux thanks to the F1.0 large-aperture lens and 1/1.8" CMOS sensor — well below typical street-lit levels. Wise-ISP optimizes color, detail and smear in near-darkness, and when even that runs out, the 30 m warm light switches in Auto or Manual.

What does the warm light add compared to plain IR cameras?

IR cameras record black-and-white at night, so clothing color, vehicle color and skin tone are lost. This model's warm white light keeps everything in color up to 30 m — evidence that identifies. It also acts as visible deterrence, showing the site is actively monitored.

How wide can one camera cover?

The 2.8 mm version sees a very wide 124.3° horizontally — one unit can watch a full forecourt or shop floor. The 4.0 mm version covers 96.1° and stretches DORI detection from 43.4 m to 62.1 m, with recognition at 12.4 m instead of 8.7 m.

What are the power, housing and audio specs?

PoE power over a single network cable, IP67 dust- and water-resistant housing for outdoor mounting, and a built-in microphone recording G.711U/G.711A at 64 Kbps with the video. Two-way talk is not supported, so plan external audio if you need voice callouts.

Does it filter out false alarms?

Yes. Smart Intrusion Prevention Lite runs intrusion and cross line detection classified by human body and vehicle, and ultra motion detection uses the same logic. Rain, insects and swaying branches get ignored; people and cars trigger. Tampering alarm and audio detection round out the set.

How much bandwidth does the 4MP stream use?

Main stream runs 4 MP (2688×1520) at up to 25 fps with bit rate adjustable between 128 Kbps and 6144 Kbps. Ultra 265 with U-code compresses hard, and dual streams let the recorder take full quality while phones pull a light sub stream over mobile data.
