The Uniview IPC3622LE-ADF28(40)K-WP is a 2MP ColorHunter fixed eyeball network camera built around Wise-ISP image processing. Instead of infrared, it uses a built-in warm-light illuminator (up to 30 m) so night footage stays in full color, adds 120 dB true WDR for strong-light scenes, and powers over a single PoE cable inside an IP67, −30 °C to 60 °C outdoor body. It is offered with two fixed lenses: 2.8 mm (ADF28K, wider view) or 4.0 mm (ADF40K, longer reach).

Is 2MP still enough for a shop or small business?

For close-range scenes, yes. The main stream runs 1080P (1920×1080) at 30 fps, and the bit rate stays between 128 Kbps and 6144 Kbps — light on bandwidth and storage, which matters when the recorder link or mobile data is limited. DORI recognition is 9 m (2.8 mm) or 12.9 m (4.0 mm).

Does this model use infrared at night?

No — it is a full-color design with no IR. A warm white light reaching 30 m (Auto or Manual) plus an F1.0 lens and 0.0003 lux sensitivity keep the image in color all night. Wise-ISP processing cleans up color, detail and smear in near-darkness.

Can it detect people and vehicles separately?

Yes. Smart Intrusion Prevention Lite provides intrusion and cross line detection based on human body and vehicle detection, and ultra motion detection uses the same classification. Alarms fire on people or cars, not rain or moving branches, plus tampering and audio detection are included.

How is it powered and can it stay outdoors?

PoE carries power and video on one network cable, so each camera point needs a single run from the switch. The IP67-rated housing withstands dust and heavy rain, and the mount adjusts pan 0–360°, tilt 0–75°, rotation 0–360° for walls, eaves and poles.

Which lens should I take for my scene?

ADF28K (2.8 mm) covers 99.0° horizontally with DORI detection at 45 m — best for shop interiors, corridors and small yards. ADF40K (4.0 mm) covers 85.4° and detects to 64.3 m, recognizing at 12.9 m — the pick for slightly deeper scenes like driveways.
