The Uniview NVR304-B-P16-IQ Series is a 16-port PoE, 4-HDD network video recorder offered in two sizes: NVR304-16B-P16-IQ (16-ch) and NVR304-32B-P16-IQ (32-ch), with 16 built-in PoE ports delivering up to 30 W per port (150 W total budget, IEEE 802.3at/af). Both record cameras up to 12MP with Ultra 265 / H.265 / H.264 compression, output simultaneously over 4K HDMI and VGA, and include built-in Face Detection, Face Comparison, Vehicle Detection (LPR) and AcuSearch / AcuTrack smart search. Four independent SATA bays each take a hard disk up to 24 TB, and the local interface is available in 38 languages including Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil) and French.

- Powering all 32 cameras via built-in PoE on the 32B-P16-IQ — this series has 16 PoE ports regardless of model; channels 17–32 on the 32-ch unit need a separate switch or injector
- A second/redundant network uplink — only one 10/100/1000M RJ45 network interface is provided (separate from the 16 PoE camera ports)
- RS232 serial connection — RS232 is listed N/A on this series (RS485 is provided, e.g. for PTZ control)
- A fifth hard disk or more — this series tops out at 4 SATA bays (up to 96 TB total with four 24 TB drives)
- Redundant/dual power input — it runs on a single AC 100–240 V power supply, no built-in PSU redundancy
