How far can the IPC6412LR-X16-VG see with its 16x zoom?

The 5–80 mm 16x lens (F1.7–F2.8) delivers DORI figures of detect up to 1241.4 m, observe up to 496.6 m, recognize up to 248.3 m and identify up to 124.1 m at the tele end — enough to read a person at over 100 m on a fence line or open yard.

What is its night performance?

LightHunter imaging holds color down to 0.003 lux (F1.7, AGC on), so color detail lasts late into dusk. Once fully dark, Smart IR takes over automatically with a range up to 100 m, and Smart IR exposure control keeps nearby subjects from being overexposed.

What targets can it track automatically?

Auto tracking filters for humans, non-motor vehicles and vehicles, so it can follow a person, motorbike or car through the scene. Smart intrusion prevention adds cross-line, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area detection with false-alarm filtering, plus people flow counting and crowd density monitoring.

How is it powered?

The listing specifies PoE+, so one network cable from a PoE+ switch or NVR PoE port supplies both power and video. That avoids running separate mains power up the pole and keeps the installation to a single Cat5e/Cat6 run per camera.

Where does it store footage?
