The Uniview IPC86CEB-AF18KC-I0 is a 12MP fisheye fixed dome network camera built around a single 1.8 mm lens that captures one 180° hemispherical image in every frame — the lens itself has no separate horizontal/vertical field of view, since a fisheye sees a full circle rather than a rectangle. Multiple decoding modes let that same recording be viewed as a raw Fisheye view, a dewarped Panorama view, or a virtual PTZ view with no moving parts, switchable in the camera's own stream settings or in EZStation/APP client software. It adds embedded 360° infrared fill light up to 15 m, heatmap people-counting analytics, IK10 vandal-resistant and IP67 outdoor housing, and records locally to MicroSD up to 512 GB.
Is this the right camera for you?
Plain-language guide for buyers and installers — based only on what this camera actually does.
- Long-range identification — fixed 1.8 mm lens, DORI Identify range is only 4.4 m (14.4 ft.)
- Wi-Fi — wired RJ45 camera only
- Full-color night vision — supplemental light is IR only (850 nm); no warm/white light
- MicroSD cards larger than 512 GB — edge storage capped at 512 GB

Key Features
Complete list from the official datasheet.
One Lens, Three Ways to Watch
A fisheye lens has no separate horizontal/vertical field of view — it captures one 180° circular image that decoding then reshapes into the view you need.
The full picture, one raw frame
12 MP (4000×3000)@20 fps circular fisheye image — nothing cropped, nothing corrected. Best for reviewing the whole scene at a glance before zooming into any part of it.
Straightened out, wall-to-wall
Dewarped into 4000×3000@20 fps or 3000×2000 / 3000×1500 @20-25 fps horizontal or vertical panorama — the curved fisheye image is corrected into a normal-looking wide scene for ceiling, table or wall mounts.
Virtual pan-tilt-zoom, no motor
1920×1080@20/25 fps — software crops and follows a subject inside the fisheye image like a real PTZ camera, with fisheye+3/4/8PTZ multi-window layouts and zero moving parts to wear out.
How far can it see? (DORI)
DORI (EN 62676-4) is the industry standard for what a camera can do at distance.
How wide a view at each distance
Scene width covered at typical mounting distances — the number you need to work out how many cameras a wall, yard or aisle takes.
