The RLCD-550P01 is built on an imported self-emissive OLED cell: every pixel switches on and off independently, so blacks are truly black and measured contrast reaches 150000:1 with no backlight bleed. The 55″ FHD panel refreshes at 120 Hz, shows 1.07 billion colors (10-bit) and responds in 8 ms. What sets it apart is the mechanics: the flexible panel accepts concave and convex curvature in both orientations up to R1000 mm, and units tile M×N horizontally or vertically — columns, waves and ribbons are all buildable. Each unit carries DP in and DP out for loop-through plus one HDMI input, weighs 20 kg in a sheet-metal housing, and mounts on walls, ceilings or floor stands. Industrial-grade power modules support 7×24 operation beyond 30,000 hours.

Engineering note: Signal runs on DP loop-through — one DP in and one DP out per unit, 1920×1080@60 Hz maximum on the loop, plus one HDMI input — so plan source routing and daisy-chain lengths early. The achievable bend radius also differs between landscape and portrait mounting: freeze the curve design with us before the enclosure or wall structure is fabricated.

How much can the panel actually curve?

The 55″ self-emissive OLED panel bends both concave and convex, vertically and horizontally, down to a minimum radius of R1000 mm. That lets you wrap columns, build wave ceilings or curve a wall face — the creative formats used in airports, rail stations, museums and flagship stores.

How do I tile several units into one big surface?

Units tile M×N horizontally or vertically. Each panel has one DP input and one DP loop-through output (both up to 1920×1080 at 60 Hz), so you daisy-chain from unit to unit instead of running one cable per screen. Bezels are 3.94 mm on three sides and 9.64 mm at the bottom.

What image quality does self-emissive OLED give versus LCD?

Because each pixel emits its own light, contrast reaches 150000:1 with true blacks — no backlight bleed. The panel renders 1.07 billion colors at 10-bit depth, refreshes at 120 Hz and responds in 8 ms. Brightness is 400 nit / 150 nit typical at center, suited to indoor spaces.

How is it mounted and how heavy is each unit?

Each unit weighs 20 kg in a sheet-metal housing of 1217.48×693.94 mm and installs on walls, ceilings or floor stands — the ceiling option is what enables curved overhead installations. Plan the structure per unit weight times your M×N count.
