Auto-MDI/MDIX, IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and half-duplex backpressure keep unmanaged links stable, while a front DIP switch selects VLAN mode (downlink-to-uplink only) or CCTV mode (forced 10 Mbps, up to 250 m reach). A -30 °C to 65 °C operating range with ±6/8 kV ESD and ±2/4 kV surge protection suits harsh field cabinets.

  • CCTV mode forces every downlink port down to 10 Mbps — not suitable where full gigabit throughput per port is required on long cable runs.

It aggregates gigabit traffic in harsh locations: 8 × 10/100/1000M RJ45 ports plus 2 × 1000M SFP fiber slots, 20 Gbps switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps forwarding. Being unmanaged, installers drop it into field cabinets plug-and-play, between edge devices and the fiber backbone.
What do the VLAN and CCTV modes do?
A front-panel DIP switch selects them. VLAN mode restricts downlink ports to talk only to the uplink, which stops lateral traffic between connected devices. CCTV mode forces ports to 10 Mbps to stretch copper reach up to 250 m for distant devices — useful on long outdoor runs.
Is it suitable for outdoor or roadside cabinets?
Yes. It operates from -30 to 65 °C with 5–95% non-condensing humidity, backed by ±6 kV contact / ±8 kV air ESD protection and ±2 kV differential / ±4 kV common-mode surge protection. At 110 × 90 × 46 mm it fits tight pole and roadside enclosures easily.
Does it need software or any setup?
No. Ports auto-negotiate with auto-MDI/MDIX, IEEE 802.3x flow control runs in full duplex and backpressure in half duplex, and switching is store-and-forward with a 4K MAC table and 9 KB jumbo frames. Everything works out of the box; the only decision is the working-mode DIP switch.
What uplink options do I get?
Two 1000 Mbps SFP slots accept fiber modules for the uplink, keeping all 8 gigabit copper ports free for local devices. The 20 Gbps switching capacity covers all ten gigabit ports at full duplex, so camera streams aggregate to the backbone without the switch becoming the bottleneck.
