Overview

The ISW2000-4T2GP-POE-IN is an unmanaged industrial PoE Ethernet switch with 4 × 10/100Mbps RJ45 PoE ports (IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W per port) and 2 × 1000Mbps SFP slots for a gigabit fiber uplink. It switches at 4.8 Gbps with 3.57 Mpps forwarding and store-and-forward transfer, and offers plug-and-play VLAN or CCTV (10 Mbps, up to 250 m) working modes with no configuration required. A -30 °C to 65 °C operating range with ±6/8 kV ESD and ±2/4 kV surge protection suits harsh field cabinets.

  • Access ports are Fast Ethernet (10/100Mbps), not Gigabit — if downlink devices need gigabit throughput, choose a GE-port model instead.
  • Unmanaged with only VLAN and CCTV working modes — no SNMP, no per-VLAN tagging, no inter-VLAN routing; choose a managed switch if you need remote monitoring or fine-grained VLAN control.
  • Device max power is 75 W — running all four ports at the full 30 W PoE+ ceiling (120 W combined) exceeds the budget, so check actual camera draw before over-subscribing all ports.

Industrial PoE Switch FAQ — ISW2000-4T2GP-POE-IN

How many IP cameras can the ISW2000-4T2GP-POE-IN power?
All 4 FE ports source PoE to IEEE 802.3af/at, with up to 30 W available on a single port for PTZ or heated cameras. Typical fixed IP cameras draw 4–12 W each, so four cameras per switch is the normal load. The switch runs from a 48–57 V DC adapter, 75 W maximum.
How far can it reach a camera or the control room?
In CCTV mode the copper ports carry data plus PoE power up to 250 m at 10 Mbps — enough for one distant camera per port without mid-span extenders. For the backbone, the 2 × 1000 Mbps SFP slots take fiber modules for a gigabit uplink back to the control room.
Does it need any configuration?
No. It is an unmanaged switch: the VLAN and CCTV working modes are plug-and-play with no software at all. Switching is store-and-forward at 4.8 Gbps capacity and 3.57 Mpps forwarding, with a 2 Mbit packet buffer, 4K MAC table and 16 KB jumbo frame support.
Can it survive outdoor field cabinets?
That is what it is built for: a -30 to 65 °C operating range, ±6 kV contact / ±8 kV air ESD protection and ±2 kV differential / ±4 kV common-mode surge protection. The compact 145 × 109 × 58 mm housing fits pole-mounted and roadside cabinets where ordinary desktop switches fail.
How is the switch itself powered?
From a DC 48–57 V input fed by an AC 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz adapter, with 75 W maximum power. PoE output follows IEEE 802.3af/at at up to 30 W per port, and front indicators (PWR, LNK/ACT, PoE, DATA) let installers check power and link state at a glance.
