The NSW2020-10T-POE-IN is an unmanaged Fast Ethernet PoE switch with 10 × 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports — 8 PoE-enabled downlink ports (ports 1-2 carry power priority) plus 2 uplink ports — built for plug-and-play CCTV deployments. It delivers an 88 W total PoE power budget (30 W max per port, IEEE 802.3af/at, Mode B pinout: 4/5+, 7/8-) over a 2 Gbps switching fabric with 1.49 Mpps forwarding, a 448K bit packet buffer and a 1K MAC address table. A fanless, all-metal 171×103×25 mm housing (0.29 kg) runs from 0°C to 45°C, is NDAA compliant, and switches between Default (Normal) and EXTEND (250 m surveillance reach) working modes via a rear-panel slide switch — no management software required.

How many cameras can the NSW2020-10T-POE-IN run?
Ports 1–8 are IEEE 802.3af/at PoE downlinks sharing an 88 W budget — an 11 W average per camera with all eight connected, against the 4–12 W a typical fixed IP camera draws. Any single port can deliver up to 30 W. Ports 9–10 are the 10/100 uplinks.
How does EXTEND mode work for long cable runs?
A rear-panel slide switch toggles between Default (Normal) and EXTEND. In EXTEND mode the PoE ports push data and power up to 250 m of cable for surveillance runs, so remote cameras connect without extenders. Switching back to Default restores normal operation — no software involved.
What do the PoE priority ports do?
Ports 1 and 2 carry PoE power priority. Wire your most critical cameras — an entrance or a cash desk — to those two ports so they are the ones that keep power when the 88 W budget is stretched by heavy loads elsewhere. The PoE-MAX indicator warns when the budget is near its limit.
