Overview

The ZJIES6028M-24GT2GB-DC is an IEC61850-3 compliant industrial managed Layer-2 19-inch rack-mount gigabit switch with 24 × 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports and 2 × 1000Base-X SFP fiber slots. It provides full management — QoS, VLAN, IGMP Snooping/GMRP, Port Trunking, SNMP v1/v2/v3 — and ring-redundancy protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP/ERPS/ZJRing) with self-healing under 20 ms. Redundant power input, wide-temperature design and strong EMC immunity make it suitable for substation automation and demanding industrial sites. The ZJIES6028M series scales to 28 gigabit ports across many copper/fiber configurations.

What ports does the ZJIES6028M-24GT2GB-DC provide?
24 × 10/100/1000Base-T gigabit copper ports for local devices plus 2 × 1000Base-X SFP slots for fiber uplinks, in a managed 19-inch rack chassis. Fiber optics are selectable: multimode for 2 km, or single-mode modules for 20, 40, 60 or 120 km runs.
Can I build a self-healing fiber ring with it?
Yes. The 2 SFP ports let each switch join a fiber ring, protected by STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS per ITU-T G.8032 recovering under 50 ms, or the proprietary ZJRing self-healing ring under 20 ms. A cable cut anywhere on the ring reroutes traffic before video streams or SCADA polls time out.
How do I manage and monitor it remotely?
Via SNMP v1/v2/v3 with standard MIBs (MIB-II, Bridge-MIB, VLAN-MIB, RSTP-MIB, LLDP-MIB), a web interface, Telnet or the RS-232 console at 9600 bps. Syslog, RMON, LLDP and SNTP give your NMS events, statistics, topology and synchronized timestamps; firmware updates load over web or serial TFTP.
What VLAN and QoS capacity should I plan around?
Up to 64 VLANs (port-based or 802.1Q, VID 1–4094) plus a dedicated management VLAN. QoS offers 4 priority queues by 802.1p or DSCP and 8 queues per port, and IGMP Snooping v1/v2 handles up to 256 multicast groups — enough to separate video, control and office traffic on one industrial backbone.
Does it support redundant power?
Yes — the AC/DC 100–240V wide-range input can be ordered as single or dual supply, wired on a 4-pin power terminal with a separate 2-pin alarm terminal. With dual feeds from different sources, one supply failure neither drops the 24 access ports nor breaks the fiber ring.
