The Uniarch IPC-B312-ADZK is a 2MP bullet network camera with a motorized varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm, 4.3X zoom) that lets the field of view be adjusted remotely after installation — no re-mounting needed to reframe the shot. It combines 120 dB true WDR for strong-light scenes, ultra motion detection (human/vehicle classification), a built-in mic, and Smart IR night vision up to 50 m. It is IP67 outdoor-rated and powers over a single PoE cable or DC 12V, with a −30 °C to 60 °C working range.

How far can the IPC-B312-ADZK see at night?

Smart IR at 850 nm reaches up to 50 m in total darkness — noticeably further than typical 30 m entry-level bullets — with auto or manual control. The IR is invisible, so the camera monitors discreetly, and Smart IR adjusts intensity to avoid washing out close subjects.

Can I adjust the zoom after installation?

Yes — the 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens is adjusted remotely, no ladder needed. At 2.8 mm you get a 111° wide view with DORI detect at 42 m; at 12 mm the view narrows to 36.6° but detect stretches to 180 m and identify to 18 m. One SKU covers many scene types.

What smart detections does it support besides motion?

Cross line and intrusion detection are both based on human body detection, so a fence line or zone alarm fires on people rather than dogs or blowing debris. Ultra motion detection, tampering alarm and audio detection round it out, and ROI supports up to 8 areas.

Can it record locally if the network drops?

Yes — it has MicroSD edge storage, so footage keeps writing to the card when the link to the NVR fails, and a built-in microphone records audio alongside. With Ultra 265/H.265 at 128–6144 Kbps you control how many days a card holds.

How is it powered and does it survive rain and backlight?

PoE runs power and 1080p/30 fps video over one network cable — practical on perimeter poles. The IP67 housing handles dust and heavy rain, while true 120 dB WDR keeps faces readable against gates, headlights and bright doorways, backed by HLC, BLC and digital defog.
