It provides up to 30 m of smart infrared night vision, a built-in mic, MicroSD edge storage up to 512 GB, and powers over a single PoE cable or DC 12V, with a −30 °C to 60 °C working range. It carries a fixed 2.8 mm lens only — there is no alternate lens option for this model.

2MP PoE Dome Camera FAQ — IPC322LB-ASF28K-A

How do I power the IPC322LB-ASF28K-A?

Two options: PoE, where one network cable from a PoE switch carries both power and video — the cleanest install — or a local DC 12V supply if your switch has no PoE. With PoE you avoid running separate power lines to every camera point.

Can it record without an NVR?

Yes. It has a microSD card slot for edge recording, so a small shop or single-gate site can run the camera standalone and review footage directly. For multi-camera projects you would still pair it with an NVR, with the SD card acting as local backup.

What area does the fixed 2.8 mm lens cover?

The 2.8 mm lens gives a 101.1° horizontal and 117° diagonal field of view — wide enough to cover a shop floor, reception or gate area from one corner. DORI figures: detect a person at 45 m, observe at 18 m, recognize at 9 m, identify at 4.5 m.

How does it perform at night?

Smart IR at 850 nm illuminates up to 30 m and auto-adjusts intensity so close objects are not overexposed. The IR-cut filter switches automatically between color day mode and black-and-white night mode; minimum color illumination is 0.01 Lux (F2.0, AGC on), 0 Lux with IR.

Is it suitable for outdoor mounting in rough areas?

Yes. The dome is IK10 vandal-resistant against knocks and tampering and IP67 sealed against dust and heavy rain, so it handles gates, street-facing walls and open yards. Ultra 265 compression keeps the 1080p/30fps stream between 128 Kbps and 6144 Kbps to save bandwidth and storage.
