The IPC6612SR-X25-VG is a 2MP network PTZ dome camera with a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a 5–125 mm 25× optical zoom lens (1920×1080 @30fps main stream), delivering LightHunter low-light imaging (0.001 Lux color, 0 Lux with IR) and up to 120 dB WDR. Smart Intrusion Prevention covers cross line, intrusion, and enter/leave-area detection with person / non-motor-vehicle / vehicle classification and false-alarm filtering, alongside people-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring. Pan is 360° endless and tilt runs -15° to 90° at 2–75°/s, with 1024 presets and 16 preset / route / recorded patrols, Smart IR to 150 m, and an IP66 / IK10 housing powered by DC 12 V or PoE+ (802.3at).
Is this the right camera for you?
Plain-language guide for buyers and installers — based only on what this camera actually does.
- No standard PoE (802.3af) support listed — power is DC 12 V or PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) with a max. draw of 25 W. Confirm your switch or injector supports 802.3at before ordering.
- Built-in mic, built-in speaker and WIFI are all listed as N/A on the datasheet — two-way audio needs an external mic/speaker on the audio I/O, and networking is wired only (1× RJ45).
- Network is 1× RJ45 10 M/100 M Base-TX — not Gigabit. Plan bitrate and stream count (128 Kbps–16 Mbps, triple streams) against this ceiling for multi-stream or high-bitrate deployments.
- IK10 impact resistance explicitly excludes the front window on this model — sites with a real risk of direct strikes on the lens dome may need additional physical protection.
Worried about counterfeits? Order under your own company name.
For corporate buyers: we support submitting the purchase order to Uniview under your company's real name — your company appears on the official order, so the origin of the goods can be verified directly with the manufacturer. Just provide your company name and pay by corporate bank transfer. Models carrying the anti-counterfeit label can also be self-verified on Uniview's official Anti-Counterfeiting Query page — enter the unit's SN plus the scratch-off code.
Using your own freight forwarder? No problem.
For small and mid-size orders, we deliver directly to your designated forwarder's warehouse in China (EXW / FOB Guangzhou). From hand-over onward, international shipping and destination-side arrangements are handled by your forwarder — the way you already work.

Day and Night Imaging in One Camera
LightHunter low-light color imaging by day, Smart IR illumination once it's fully dark.
0.001 Lux (F1.5, AGC ON) LightHunter color imaging
Keeps usable color detail well after dusk before switching to IR.
0 Lux with Smart IR — 850 nm illuminator, up to 150 m
Auto/manual light control keeps the scene visible in full darkness.
How far can it see? (DORI, Full 25× Zoom Range)
DORI (EN 62676-4) is the industry standard for what a camera can do at distance. Figures shown are at the lens's full 125 mm telephoto end (25× zoom); the same 5–125 mm lens gives shorter DORI distances at its 5 mm wide end.
How wide a view at each distance
Scene width covered at typical mounting distances — the number you need to work out how many cameras a wall, yard or aisle takes.
| Distance | 54.4° wide | 2.7° tele |
|---|---|---|
| 5 m16 ft | 5.1 m16.9 ft | 0.2 m0.8 ft |
| 10 m33 ft | 10.3 m33.7 ft | 0.5 m1.5 ft |
| 15 m49 ft | 15.4 m50.6 ft | 0.7 m2.3 ft |
| 20 m66 ft | 20.5 m67.4 ft | 0.9 m3.1 ft |
| 30 m98 ft | 30.8 m101 ft | 1.4 m4.6 ft |
Calculated from the horizontal field of view in the specifications below: width = 2 × distance × tan(FOV ÷ 2). Lens distortion and mounting angle are not included.
