- No built-in microphone or speaker — audio I/O (1 in / 1 out) is present, but two-way audio needs your own external mic and speaker wired to the terminals.
- No Wi-Fi (WIFI: N/A) — this is a wired PTZ; plan a Cat5e/6 run to the mounting point, there is no wireless option on this model.
- Max power draw is 53.72 W — standard 802.3af PoE (15.4 W) will not run it; use PoE+/PoE++, or the AC 24 V / DC 24 V power option instead.
- Single 2MP telephoto channel with no wide-angle overview lens on this unit — for full-scene coverage plus zoom detail, pair it with a fixed or panoramic camera.

How far can the IPC6622SR-X33-VF see at full zoom?
The 4.5–148.5 mm lens delivers 33x optical zoom plus 16x digital. DORI distances at full telephoto are 2187.9 m for detection, 875.2 m for observation, 437.6 m for recognition and 218.8 m for identification — one camera can watch an entire depot fence line and still confirm a person around 200 m out.
Can I connect it to a third-party NVR or VMS?
Yes. It supports ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M plus RTSP streaming, so it drops into third-party NVRs and VMS platforms, and an API/SDK covers custom projects. On the Uniview side it works with EZStation, UNV-Link and UNV-Link Pro, with TLS 1.3 and HTTPS securing remote connections.
What night vision performance should I expect?
Smart IR reaches 150 m, and the LightHunter sensor keeps color images down to 0.001 lux (F1.5, AGC on), dropping to 0 lux with IR in complete darkness. Digital defog, heatwave reduction and 120 dB WDR keep the picture usable in haze, heat shimmer and strong backlight.
Can it patrol several positions automatically?
Yes. Route patrol supports 16 patrols with up to 32 actions each, so the dome can sweep gate, fence, parking and loading areas on a schedule without an operator. Smart intrusion prevention — cross-line, intrusion, enter/leave area with false-alarm filtering — plus people counting run alongside the patrols.
How is footage stored if my network is unstable?
Edge storage takes a microSD card up to 512 GB, and ANR bridges outages: the camera records locally while the network is down, then backfills the recorder when it recovers. NAS (NFS) is supported as network storage, so unstable rural or cross-site links do not cost you evidence.
Is it OK for coastal or high-temperature outdoor sites?
The IP66-rated housing keeps out dust and driven rain, and the camera operates from -40 to 70 °C, covering humid coastal towns and hot inland sites alike. Up to 32 users on three permission levels can access it, and bit rate control from 128 Kbps to 16 Mbps suits limited uplinks.
