The Uniarch Uho-B1R-M2F3(4)-A is a 2MP Wi-Fi bullet camera built for sites where running a network cable isn't practical. It powers from a standard DC12V adapter and connects over built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — no PoE switch or NVR cabling required, just a power outlet nearby. It combines ultra motion detection (human/vehicle aware), Smart IR night vision up to 30m, a built-in mic, and an IP67 metal-and-plastic body rated for −30°C to 60°C. It is offered with two fixed lenses: 2.8mm (M2F3, wider view) or 4.0mm (M2F4, longer reach).

Do I need a PoE switch or network cable to install it?

No. It connects over Wi-Fi and takes power from a nearby outlet — no PoE switch, no LAN cable run. Installation comes down to mounting the bracket, plugging in power and joining your network, which makes it practical for shops and houses where cabling is difficult.

How far can it see at night?

Smart IR reaches 30 m (98 ft) at 850 nm — invisible light, so nothing shows the camera is recording. Minimum illumination is 0.01 lux in color and 0 lux with IR on; the IR-cut filter switches between day and night mode automatically.

Which lens should I order, 2.8 mm or 4.0 mm?

The 2.8 mm version covers 103° horizontally — good for yards and rooms — with DORI detection at 45 m and identification at 4.5 m. The 4.0 mm narrows to 77.5° but stretches detection to 66.7 m and identification to 6.7 m, better for gates, corridors and driveways.

Does it record sound, and can I talk back through it?

It has a built-in microphone and records audio in G.711U/A at 64 Kbps, but this model is listen-only — there is no two-way talk. High-Decibel detection can raise an alert when the mic picks up loud sounds such as shouting or breaking glass.

Is it suitable for outdoor use, and how does it cut false alarms?

Yes — the housing is rated IP67 against dust and heavy rain. Ultra motion detection classifies events by human body and vehicle, so waving branches and stray animals trigger far fewer alerts. Footage is saved to a MicroSD card in the camera, with Ultra 265/H.265 keeping files small.
