Why is the Uho-P3C-M5F4 called a ColorHunter camera?

It pairs a large 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with an F1.0 lens rated down to 0.0003 lux, plus a warm light reaching 30 m (98.4 ft). The result is full-color video around the clock — a true color night vision camera rather than black-and-white IR footage.

What resolution and frame rate does it record?

The main stream records 5MP (2880×1620) at up to 25 fps, with 4MP, 3MP, 2MP and 720P options — 3MP and below reach 30 fps. Compression is Ultra 265, H.265 or H.264 with U-code, and bit rate is adjustable from 128 Kbps to 6144 Kbps.

Can it follow and warn off an intruder automatically?

Yes. Human body detection and motion detection trigger the built-in sound and light alarm, auto tracking turns the motorized pan-tilt to follow the person, and the built-in mic and speaker give real two-way audio so you can speak to them directly.

How far can it usefully see with the 4.0 mm lens?

DORI figures for the 4.0 mm F1.0 lens: detect a person at 62.1 m, observe at 24.8 m, recognize at 12.4 m and identify at 6.2 m. The field of view is 89.4° horizontal and 94.7° diagonal, with 4X digital zoom for closer inspection.

Is it OK outdoors, and does strong backlight ruin the image?

The body is IP66 rated for rain and dust. Image tools include DWDR for contrasty scenes, 2D/3D noise reduction, digital defog and six white balance modes including sodium lamp — useful under street lighting common in African and Latin American cities.

Does it need special cabling to install?

No Ethernet run is required — it is a Wi-Fi PTZ camera, so you mount it, power it and join it to your wireless network. Dual streams and RTSP, plus HTTP and user authentication options, let installers integrate it into existing viewing setups securely.
