The DDR 6607 is a WiFi pan-tilt camera built on the platform with an H608 processor and embedded Linux. It captures 2304x1296 (3MP) at H.265+ to keep TF-card storage and bandwidth low, and joins the network over WiFi 6 (802.11ax) with Bluetooth pairing and SLE 1.0 for a faster, more reliable link. A 0.25T AI core drives human detection and tracking to 30 m; the pan-tilt head supports 6 presets and follows people automatically. A dual-light board covers day/night with sound-light alarm, and the camera offers full-duplex two-way talk with AI echo cancellation, timed and instant privacy sleep, and a wireless IR-CUT. It also raises its own WiFi hotspot so you can view it where there is no router, and it manages under NVR or EasyVMS. Recordings go to a TF card up to 256 GB (FAT32), PC or NVR, or to the cloud, and the HiEasy app runs in 17 languages.

Engineering note: WiFi has limits through walls. If the mounting point is far from the router or behind several walls, tell us the site layout — we will advise whether to step up to the DDR 6601 WiFi + wired version (which auto-switches to Ethernet), add a repeater, or move to a 4G model. Better to size the link right before it ships than to chase a weak signal on site.

WiFi Pan-Tilt Camera FAQ — DDR 6607

Does the DDR 6607 need any cabling to install?

No network cabling — it connects over WiFi 6 (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax) with BLE fast pairing and SLE 1.0, so setup is a phone-side pairing job. Power is USB 5 V at about 230 mA, which any standard USB adapter covers. That makes it a fit for homes, shops and courtyards where WiFi already exists.

Can I still view it if the router or internet goes down?

Yes — a built-in WiFi hotspot lets a phone connect straight to the camera and view without any router. Meanwhile recording carries on locally to the TF card, up to 256 GB (FAT32), on alarm or schedule, so an internet outage does not create a gap in your footage.

Does it work with an NVR over ONVIF?

Yes. It supports ONVIF and the P6S protocol, records to TF card, PC or NVR, and sits under NVR or EasyVMS central management. Cloud storage is supported as well, so a small site can mix local TF recording with an NVR or cloud copy as the project grows.

How far does the human detection reach, and does it track?

The 0.25T AI engine detects people up to 30 m away and the pan-tilt head follows them with human tracking, backed by 6 preset positions. On detection it can fire a sound-light alarm through the dual-light board, and the night light plus 0.01 Lux sensitivity keep the picture usable after dark.

Can I talk through the camera?

Yes — full-duplex two-way talk with AI echo cancellation, so both sides can speak at once like a phone call. It uses an external analog mic with 42 dB SNR and an 8-ohm speaker up to 1.5 W. Privacy sleep, timed or instant, shuts the camera down when you want no monitoring.
