The Uniarch IPC-B132-AF28(40)-ECO is a 2MP fixed bullet network camera from the Entry Series IR line. It provides up to 30 m of smart infrared night vision, powers over a single PoE cable, and carries an IP67 outdoor rating with a −30 °C to 60 °C working range. It is offered with two fixed lenses: 2.8 mm (AF28, wider view) or 4.0 mm (AF40, longer reach).

How far is the night vision on the IPC-B132-ECO?

Smart IR reaches 30 m (98.4 ft) at 850 nm. The light is invisible, so the camera watches without lighting up the scene — nothing shows it is recording. It works at 0 Lux with IR on, keeps color down to 0.01 Lux (F2.0, AGC on), and the ICR filter switches day/night automatically.

What is the coverage difference between the two lens options?

The 2.8 mm covers 87.8 degrees horizontally, with DORI detection at 51.4 m, recognition at 10.3 m and identification at 5.1 m. The 4.0 mm covers 68.4 degrees but stretches detection to 73.5 m, recognition to 14.7 m and identification to 7.3 m. Wide for close scenes, 4.0 mm for distance.

Does it detect people specifically, not just motion?

Yes. Human body detection 2.0 runs alongside standard motion detection and audio detection, so alarms can be limited to people entering the frame instead of every moving shadow. For an installer that means fewer nuisance notifications for the client without extra hardware on the recorder.

Is it waterproof enough for exposed mounting?

Yes — the IP67 rating covers dust-tight sealing and temporary immersion, so rain, dust and washdown on an exposed wall or pole are within spec. Power arrives over PoE on the same Ethernet cable as video, and the 3-axis bracket (pan 0–360, tilt 0–90, rotate 0–360 degrees) aims it precisely.

What streams does it output for the NVR side?

Dual streams: a 1080P (1920x1080) main stream at up to 30 fps and a sub stream down to 640x360 for multi-view walls and mobile viewing. Compression is Ultra 265, H.265 or H.264 with U-code, bitrate 128–6144 Kbps, and the built-in mic adds G.711U/A audio at 64 Kbps to the recording.
