Is this the right camera for you?
Plain-language guide for buyers and installers — based only on what this camera actually does.
- Full-color night vision — this is IR-only, night video is black & white, not color
- Two-way talk — it has a mic but no speaker
- Wi-Fi — this is a wired RJ45 camera
- Zoom — the lens is fixed at 4.0 mm, no optical zoom

Night Vision: Smart IR
Invisible infrared night vision — this model has no warm-light module.
Invisible infrared — discreet black & white night vision
Smart IR up to 30 m (98.4 ft.) at 850 nm. The camera watches without lighting up the scene — nothing shows it is recording. This model has a single IR illuminator only, no warm-light module.
How far can it see? (DORI)
DORI (EN 62676-4) is the industry standard for what a camera can do at distance.
How wide a view at each distance
Scene width covered at typical mounting distances — the number you need to work out how many cameras a wall, yard or aisle takes.
| Distance | 68.4° |
|---|---|
| 5 m16 ft | 6.8 m22.3 ft |
| 10 m33 ft | 13.6 m44.6 ft |
| 15 m49 ft | 20.4 m66.9 ft |
| 20 m66 ft | 27.2 m89.2 ft |
| 30 m98 ft | 40.8 m134 ft |
Calculated from the horizontal field of view in the specifications below: width = 2 × distance × tan(FOV ÷ 2). Lens distortion and mounting angle are not included.
