ColorHunter with Wise-ISP technology keeps images in full color around the clock, backed by 120dB true WDR and a built-in warm light rated to 30 m for extra illumination after dark. Does this camera show color at night without street lighting?

Yes. The F1.0 aperture and 1/1.8-inch sensor deliver color video down to 0.0003 lux, so ColorHunter keeps the scene in full color through the night. When the site is near total darkness, the built-in warm light reaches up to 30 m and switches on automatically or manually.

Which lens should I order, 2.8 mm or 4.0 mm?

Pick 2.8 mm for wide coverage: 111.0° horizontal view, DORI detection to 63 m and identification at 6.3 m — good for gates and yards. Pick 4.0 mm for reach: 94.2° view, detection to 90 m and identification at 9.0 m, suited to driveways and perimeters.

What resolution and frame rates does it record?

The main stream runs 8 MP (3840×2160) at up to 20 fps, or you can drop to 5 MP or 4 MP at 30 fps for smoother motion. Dual streams with Ultra 265, H.265, H.264 and MJPEG keep the bitrate between 128 Kbps and 6144 Kbps.

How do I power it, and does it survive outdoor installs?

It is a PoE camera: one network cable from a PoE switch or PoE NVR port carries both power and video, which keeps cabling simple on long runs. The IP67-rated housing handles rain and dust, and the bracket adjusts pan 0–360° and tilt 0–90°.

Can it tell people and vehicles from other movement?

Yes. Ultra motion detection works on human body and vehicle detection, and Smart Intrusion Prevention Lite adds intrusion and crossline rules filtered the same way. That cuts false alarms from animals, rain or moving branches. Tampering alarm and audio detection are also built in.
