The IPC6312LFW-AX5C-VG1 is a 2MP LightHunter mini PTZ dome camera built around a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with a 2.7 to 13.5 mm, 5× optical-zoom lens (F1.6), delivering up to 120 dB WDR and color imaging down to 0.002 lux (AGC on). Smart intrusion prevention covers cross line, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area detection with false-alarm filtering and human/vehicle classification, while auto tracking automatically follows human targets and a built-in mic and speaker support two-way audio. Smart IR reaches 50 m plus a 15 m warm light, MicroSD storage takes cards up to 512 GB, and the IP66-rated housing runs on DC 12 V or PoE (IEEE 802.3at).

- No wide panoramic view — this is a single-lens 5× zoom mini PTZ covering one area at a time, not a 360° or multi-sensor camera. Pair it with a fixed or panoramic camera if you need full-scene overview plus detail together.
- The datasheet lists auto tracking with human-target filtering, not face recognition or a face database — it follows a person, it doesn't identify who they are. Choose a dedicated face-recognition camera if identity matching is the goal.
- IP66 protection (not IP67/submersible) — fine for eaves, walls and typical outdoor poles, but not rated for direct water immersion or burial-level exposure.

A 2.7–13.5 mm, 5× optical-zoom lens (F1.6) pairs with auto tracking that filters for human targets only, so the PTZ head follows people without chasing vehicles or moving branches.
LightHunter imaging holds color into near-darkness
0.002 lux color sensitivity (F1.6, AGC on) plus 120 dB WDR keeps footage usable in dim lots and backlit doorways; once it's fully dark, 50 m IR and 15 m warm light take over.
