The 4.5–148.5 mm lens with 33x optical and 16x digital zoom yields DORI distances of 3172.5 m for detection, 1269.0 m for observation, 634.5 m for recognition and 317.3 m for identification at full telephoto — one pole can oversee a port yard, mine boundary or long farm fence.
Which targets can the auto tracking follow?
Auto tracking supports target filtering for humans, non-motor vehicles and vehicles, so the PTZ follows what matters and ignores stray animals or foliage. It works with smart intrusion prevention — cross-line, intrusion, enter and leave area with false-alarm filtering — plus people flow counting and crowd density monitoring.
What night vision range does it have?
Smart IR reaches 150 m, and the LightHunter sensor holds color down to 0.003 lux (F1.5, AGC on), switching to 0 lux with IR in full darkness. 120 dB WDR and digital defog handle high-contrast entrances and hazy conditions along the zoom range.
Can I integrate it with a non-Uniview NVR or VMS?
Yes. ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M plus RTSP make it compatible with third-party recorders and management platforms, and the API/SDK covers project-specific integration. TLS 1.3, HTTPS encryption and digest authentication protect the link, and EZStation or UNV-Link remain available on the Uniview side.
What happens to footage during network outages?
Edge storage on a microSD card up to 512 GB plus ANR means the camera records locally through an outage and automatically backfills the recorder afterwards — no gaps in evidence after power cuts or fiber breaks. NAS (NFS) network storage is also supported.
Is it suitable for hot and cold outdoor climates?
Yes — the IP66-rated housing works from -40 to 70 °C, covering desert sites, tropical coasts and cold highlands with the same unit. The main stream records 4 MP (2688 × 1520) at up to 30 fps over three streams, with bit rate control from 128 Kbps to 16 Mbps for constrained uplinks.
