The IPC6824ER-X42-W-VH2 is a 4MP 42× optical-zoom Wise-ISP IR wiper network PTZ dome camera built around a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with 150 dB WDR and a DORI detect distance up to 4310.3 m. Auto tracking with human / vehicle / non-motor classification, smart intrusion prevention (cross line, intrusion, enter/leave area) with false-alarm filtering, people counting with crowd density detection, and face recognition with up to 16 libraries and 100,000 faces run on the same channel. Gyroscopic image stabilization keeps the long zoom steady, a wiper clears the front window in rain, and the IP67 / IK10 housing runs from -40 °C to 70 °C with a built-in heater.

- Multi-target detection is not supported (N/A per datasheet) — if you need to track several independent targets at once, choose a model with that capability.
- This is a single-channel PTZ — one view at a time. If you need simultaneous 360° overview plus zoomed detail from one unit, choose a panoramic-linkage PTZ instead.
- Network interface is 10M/100M only (not Gigabit) — plan bandwidth accordingly for multi-stream, high-bitrate deployments.
- 6.9 kg and PTZ mechanics need a dedicated pole/wall/ceiling bracket rated for the weight and wind load — not a light fixed-camera arm.
