The MW3243-F-V2 (43″) and MW3255-F-V2 (55″) are the 4K members of Uniview's monitor line, built on industrial-grade IPS panels rated for 24/7 continuous operation. Both drive 3840×2160 at 60 Hz with 1.07 billion colors and 300 cd/m², and an automatic color and image enhancing engine sharpens contrast, details and edges on live video. I/O is display-grade: two HDMI and two DisplayPort inputs, a headphone jack and 2×10 W speakers. The ultra-narrow bezel (1.0–1.4 mm on three sides) keeps multi-monitor desks clean, operation is silent, and mounting is VESA 200×200 or the included pedestal — with HB desk mounts as the factory option for console desks.

4K Control Room Monitor FAQ — MW3243-F-V2 / MW3255-F-V2

What is the difference between the 43″ and 55″ models?

MW3243-F-V2 is 43″ with a 941×529 mm screen and ≤100 W typical draw; MW3255-F-V2 is 55″ at 1209×680 mm and ≤120 W. Both share 3840×2160 resolution, IPS panels, 300 cd/m² brightness and the same 2×HDMI + 2×DP inputs.

Can these monitors run 24/7 in a control room?

Yes. Both models are rated for 24/7 continuous operation with an industrial-grade IPS panel, 30,000-hour lifetime and 50,000-hour MTBF. Operating range is 0–40 °C and 20–85% humidity without condensation, which suits most equipment rooms without special cooling.

What video inputs do they have for NVRs and decoders?

Each monitor has 2× HDMI and 2× DisplayPort inputs, so you can connect an NVR and a workstation at the same time and switch sources. Audio plays through built-in 2×10 W speakers or a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A 1.5 m HDMI cable ships in the box.

How do I mount them on a wall or desk?

Both use a VESA 200×200 mm pattern with M6 threads 10 mm deep. A pedestal for desk use is included; the HB-4032-E wall bracket and HB-5043-H / HB-5055-H desk mounts are optional. Net weight is 6.4 kg for the 43″ and 11.4 kg for the 55″.

Is 300 cd/m² bright enough, and how wide is the viewing angle?

These are indoor monitors: 300 cd/m² with 1200:1 contrast and a 3H anti-glare surface is specified for control rooms and monitoring walls, not direct sunlight. The IPS panel holds 178°/178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colors, so operators read the screen clearly from the side.

What power supply do they need? Will they work on 220 V?

They accept AC 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz, so both 110 V and 220 V grids work without a converter. Typical consumption is ≤100 W for the 43″ and ≤120 W for the 55″, dropping to ≤0.5 W in standby. A 1.8 m power cable is included.
