This page covers the three Full HD sizes of Uniview's surveillance monitor line: MW3222-V-DT (22″, VA panel, 3000:1 contrast), MW3224-V (24″, three-side slim bezel from 2.0 mm) and MW3232-V-K2 (32″, 300 cd/m², 75 Hz, plastic casing). All three run 1920×1080 at 178°/178° viewing, take VGA and HDMI with adaptive signal recognition, include stereo speakers and a pedestal, and mount on VESA 100×100. The panels are rated for 24/7 operation with 30,000-hour lifetime and 50,000-hour MTBF — the duty cycle a monitor actually sees next to an NVR at a guard desk or in a small control room.

Is this the right monitor for your project?

Plain-language guide — based only on what this product actually does.

Security control roomsLive view runs day and night — the 24/7-rated panel and low power draw are built for exactly this duty, where a consumer TV burns out early.
Guard desks & gatehousesPlug the NVR straight in over HDMI or VGA — the monitor recognizes the signal by itself, and the built-in speakers carry alarm audio without extra boxes.
Wall-mounted public viewAs a public-view monitor at entrances, the 178° angle keeps the picture readable from the side; VESA 100×100 puts it on any standard wall bracket.
Not the right pick if you need…
  • 4K detail for command centers or forensic playback — see the 4K LED Monitor page (43″/55″, 3840×2160, IPS)
  • Touch, whiteboard and video meetings — that is the Smart Interactive Display line (65–86″)
  • A multi-screen wall canvas — LCD video walls and LED walls live in the LED Display category

Engineering note: The three panels are not identical: the 22″ is VA with 3000:1 contrast and 7 ms response; the 24″ ELED panel runs 1200:1 and 14 ms and its datasheet does not state the panel type; the 32″ D-LED runs 4000:1, 300 cd/m² and 75 Hz on DC 12 V / 3 A (the smaller two use 12 V / 2 A adapters). All ship with a pedestal; for the 32″ the wall bracket HB-4022-E is listed as an optional accessory. Confirm power and mounting per site when ordering.

Surveillance Monitor FAQ — MW3222-V-DT / MW3224-V / MW3232-V-K2

How do the 22″, 24″ and 32″ models differ?
All three are 1920×1080. The 22″ (MW3222-V-DT) is a VA panel at 250 cd/m² and 3000:1; the 24″ (MW3224-V) is 250 cd/m² at 1200:1; the 32″ (MW3232-V-K2) is a VA panel at 300 cd/m², 4000:1 and a 75 Hz refresh rate versus 60 Hz on the smaller two.
Are they rated for 24/7 operation with an NVR?
Yes — the whole line is specified for 24/7 duty, with a 30,000-hour panel lifetime and 50,000-hour MTBF. That is the key difference from consumer TVs, which are not built for continuous surveillance display. Operating range is 0–40 °C, fine for a typical guard room.
What inputs do they have for connecting an NVR or DVR?
Each monitor has 1× VGA and 1× HDMI, covering both older DVRs and current NVRs. Audio from the recorder plays through built-in speakers — 2×1.5 W on the 22″ and 24″, 2×2 W on the 32″ — with a 3.5 mm audio input. An HDMI cable is included in the box.
How much power do they use? Can I run them on 12 V backup power?
They run on DC 12 V — 2 A for the 22″ and 24″, 3 A for the 32″ — via the supplied adapter. Consumption is low: ≤24 W on the 22″/24″ and under 36 W on the 32″, under 0.5 W in standby. The 12 V input makes integration with battery-backed CCTV power straightforward.
Can I wall-mount them next to the entrance or in a guard booth?
Yes. All three use the VESA 100×100 mm pattern with 4× M4 threaded holes, and a desk pedestal is included as standard. They are light — 2.3 kg (22″), 3.3 kg (24″) and 4.1 kg (32″) net — so a basic VESA arm or bracket carries them easily in a booth or reception desk.
