The Uniview NVR508-E-R-IQ Series is an 8-HDD network video recorder offered in two sizes: NVR508-32E-R-IQ (32-ch) and NVR508-64E-R-IQ (64-ch). Both record cameras up to 32MP with Ultra 265 / H.265 / H.264 compression, support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 with Disk Group and Redundant Storage across eight independent SATA bays (up to 24 TB each), and include built-in Face Detection, Vehicle Detection (LPR), Temperature Detection and AcuSearch / AcuTrack smart search. Two independent HDMI+VGA output pairs support up to 4K/60Hz, and the local interface is available in 38 languages including Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil) and French.

Eight independent, hot-swappable SATA bays each take a disk up to 24 TB — up to 192 TB in one recorder, with Disk Group and Redundant Storage supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 or 10, plus N+1 Hot spare and an optional redundant power supply module, so a failed drive, a failed PSU — or a failed recorder — doesn't stop recording.
