The S802GI/GID pairs 8 Fast Ethernet PoE ports with 2 Gigabit RJ45 uplinks in a compact fanless case -- the switch most installers reach for on a straightforward 8-camera job. No single IP camera fills a 100Mbps link, but eight streams converging on one uplink can, so the Gigabit backhaul keeps the NVR feed smooth even at full load. Built-in IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ powers the cameras directly off the same cable, and the optional 250m Extend mode reaches the one camera that's always too far from the panel. Choose the 96W S802GI for typical loads or the 120W S802GI, which adds a watchdog auto-reset, for PTZ or IR-illuminated cameras.
