Overview

The Atlas S802EI is a compact 10-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet PoE switch built for 8-camera installs. It provides 8 x 10/100M PoE ports (IEEE802.3af/at, up to 30W per port with smart powered-device detection) plus 2 x 10/100M uplink ports in a fanless IP30 metal enclosure. The base S802EI carries a 96W power budget; the S802EI steps up to 120W and adds an independent watchdog auto-reset circuit for extra-reliable operation on heavier PoE loads or unattended sites. An Extend mode stretches PoE and data reach out to 250m on any port by stepping the link rate down to 10Mbps, and store-and-forward switching with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX keeps traffic flowing without configuration. Both variants are rated -10 to +70°C for unheated equipment rooms, corridors and rooftop cabinets.
