Overview

The Atlas S402EI is a compact 6-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet PoE switch built for small camera installations. It provides 4 x 10/100M PoE ports (IEEE802.3af/at, up to 30W per port with smart powered-device detection) plus 2 x 10/100M uplink ports, all inside a fanless IP30 metal enclosure drawing up to 52W. An Extend mode stretches the PoE and data link out to 250m on any port by stepping the link rate down to 10Mbps, so installers can run a camera well past the standard 100m Ethernet limit without adding a separate power line at the far end. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation with auto MDI/MDIX, and a built-in watchdog auto-reset keep the unit stable under continuous camera loads, while the -10 to +70°C rated housing covers unheated cabinets, gate booths and rooftop enclosures.
